At Demeter House School, we recognise the importance for healthy eating and a varied diet. Our lunch menu includes something from each of the important food groups which include plenty of carbohydrates (bread, potatoes and pasta), fruits and vegetables, meat (chicken, beef, and fish), dairy products and a little of fats and sugars. The food on our menu is freshly made and the needs of every child are attended to. If there is a meal that your child can’t or won’t eat we will offer an alternative (providing that they receive free school meals) but otherwise we ask that you provide a packed lunch on those days.
